Yumi Talem proudly celebrates six years of broadcasting on Fresh FM, a community radio station serving the Top of the South in New Zealand. Over the years, we have grown into a trusted voice for Ni-Vanuatu communities, sharing stories that matter and creating a space where our people feel heard, connected, and represented.

Our primary goal is:

To serve as a digital bridge that connects the global Ni-Vanuatu diaspora—including seasonal workers, students, and permanent residents—back to their roots through authentic storytelling, cultural preservation, and the sharing of lived experiences. We aim to empower and unite our people wherever they are in the world.
